Age Group Home

The Great Britain Age Group competition offers all Home Nation members a chance to compete at international level in triathlon, duathlon, aquathlon, winter and cross triathlon. If you make the team, you can be proud to represent Great Britain and enjoy the experience of racing at an International Triathlon Union (ITU) World Championship or European Triathlon Union (ETU) European Championship.

To compete for Great Britain in Age Group Competition you will need to:

Join your home nation association: Triathlon England, triathlonscotland, Welsh Triathlon
Register your intent to compete at a specific Age Group championships by the deadline set
Enter the qualifying event through race organiser
Race well, and qualify under the criteria outlined on BTF website
Pay the team management and race entry fee as set out on the team confirmation email
Book your flights and accommodation and achieve your personal triathlon challenge

In 2009 there were a total of 1091 participants competing in Age Group championships. British athletes won a total of 112 medals; 38 Gold, 38 Silver, and 36 Bronze. For all age group queries please contact Adam Elliott at adamelliott@britishtriathlon.org, or alternatively call 01509 226183
