Follow the link at the bottom of this page or log onto your Home Nation’s account. The link to apply will close at 5pm 03 April 2009. Applications will NOT be accepted after this date. IMPORTANT: Please ensure that you enter a correct email address in your membership record as this will be the primary form of all contact regarding allocation of places, additional information and payment requests. Please contact the team manager as some age groups may not be full and it may still be possible to be allocated a place. However full payment of application, team management and race entry fee will have to be required in advance of any arrangement to allocate you a late place. You will NOT be able to apply online after the cut off date. CostsA fee of £10 will be charged to all athletes who apply for a place. Successful athletes who are allocated a place will pay a £15 team management fee in addition to the race entry (amount to be confirmed). British Triathlon will provide as much support in the form of a team manager, masseurs and bike mechanics as the team size allows. Please note all athletes have to fund their own travel and accommodation. Allocation of placesThere will be 3 qualification races for this Event
Application: You need to apply only once (per team) though this must be done before the first race in which you intend to qualify. If you intend to qualify at the last qualifying race in Ampleforth you must apply by 5pm Friday 03 April 2009. There is no need to notify the race organisers of your intention to qualify at either event. Qualification: Places will be allocated as follows. IMPORTANT - Pre-qualifiers must register by midnight Friday 12th September to claim their place. Pre-qualifiers: Race qualifiers: Once all pre-qualification slots have been allocated and the race day places have been awarded from all three qualification events, a "roll down" process will be initiated for the athletes who have registered their interest prior to the qualification races. Places will be awarded firstly to athletes who raced at the National Champs in Wakefield, if there are still places available then Steelman will be used and lastly Ampleforth in this order. h)   There may be available a maximum of ONE discretionary place per Age Group to a ‘potential medal winner’ who has not pre-qualified and cannot qualify through the selection races. Please supplement the application with an email to the team manager providing full details of your current ability and clearly stating why you cannot race at any of the selection races. Applications must be made in the normal way via the link at the bottom of this page by Friday 03 April 2009. Payment and RefundsSuccessful athletes who have been allocated a place will receive an email requesting full payment once applications have closed. This payment which covers the race entry and team management fee; full Payment will be due to British Triathlon Federation by 5pm Friday 22 May in case you require assistance from the office, online payments can be made until Monday night 25 May 2009. This is to allow sufficient time to process payment and register the athletes with the race organiser. Any athlete not paying in full by this date will forfeit their allocated place.
