2008 Summary
The majority of the British championship events are incorporated into existing successful events, ensuring triathletes get the best possible opportunity to race to their full potential in the chase for national titles. At these events Gold, Silver and Bronze medals are awarded in each age group competing. In addition to this the winners of each age group automatically win themselves a place on the British Age Group team for that event at either World or European Championships. The full qualification criteria can be found in the Age Group section of this website. For 2008 British Triathlon is please to announce the first ever British Disabled Championships which will be held at the Rother Valley Triathlon Festival on the 1st June 2008. This makes Britain the first country in the world to hold its own Disabled Championship event and proves British Triathlon's commitment to making the sport of Triathlon inclusive for everyone.
