Volunteers Wanted for the Dextro Energy Triathlon ITU World Championship London

We are looking for a team of dynamic and enthusiastic volunteers to help us at the new Dextro Energy Triathlon ITU World Championship London.

The 2009 event will see the Men's and Women's elite races on the 15th August broadcast live across the globe, and an Age Group triathlon event open to the public on the 16th August.   This prestigious event consists of a swim course in the Serpentine and the cycle and run courses in and around Hyde Park, the largest of the Royal Parks, and the venue for the 2012 Olympic Triathlon.

There are a variety of volunteer roles throughout the event ranging from registration on the Friday to marshalling, keeping participants hydrated and energized and helping at course turnaround points on both event days. 

All volunteers will be working in Hyde Park and will be instrumental to the event’s success. Volunteers will receive an event t-shirt and packed lunch for their support on the day.

This is the first year of the Dextro Energy Triathlon ITU World Championship London, with the event planned to grow in scale as we move towards 2012.
