“Fantastic! The best sporting event I've ever been to!”

Triathlon England ran an exclusive competition to win tickets and accommodation to the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games for one lucky member, and it didn’t disappoint.

#takemetothegames asked members to share how they would be supporting Team England at the triathlon events of the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games. Tom Morgan won by saying “I'll be watching in full wetsuit/swimming hat/goggles and will change accordingly as the race unfolds!!”

With such great weather on the Thursday for the Individual Women’s and Men’s races, it was a good thing we didn’t expect him to turn up in a wetsuit.

With front row seats on the finish line, Tom definitely got to see some exciting racing, and be there to watch Team England win two gold, a silver and a bronze medal in the Individual races and a gold in the Mixed Team Relay. 

Tom's final comments were to say: “Thank you again for a great few days! Definitely won't forget that in a hurry. Perfect inspiration for Liverpool in a couple of weeks!”
