The NW regional committee hosted a full day of CPD workshops for coaches in the region.

The Regional committee hosted a Continuous Professional Development (CPD) day on Sunday 11th October 2015 for coaches within the region.

The workshops consisted of 

·         LTAD/Talent development

·         Faults and Corrections in the freestyle stroke

·         Nutrition

·         Run Technique covering faults and corrections

·         Sports Psychology

·         Swim smooth swim types

·         Long term coach development

·         Science behind a bike fit

The day ran from Edge Hill University.

The day has recieved lots of positive feedback; the regional committee will discuss the potential of hosting another CPD day possibly next year in the spring time.
