Have you ever wanted to put something back into the sport or just wanted to get involved in officiating? Well now is your chance as a Local Technical Officials, the first course on the officiating pathway, is being put on in the East Midlands.
Local Technical Officials Course
The Local Technical Officials (LTO) qualification is aimed at individuals who are interested in beoming a race official and has been designed to provide attendees with the knowledge required to begin officiating as well as covering the soft skills needed to develop as an official.
The training is made up of:
· A full day course
· An associated knowledge tester
· The completion of four shadows of qualified officials

To become a technical official you must be at least a Triathlon England Associate Member..
The LTO course are organised by the Regional Programme Manager and is a full day course which costs £15 to attend.

Regional Technical Officials Course
For those that have already completed the LTO course the next stage is the RTO course. The next RTO course is being run jointly by East Mids and West Mids Regions.
