Reasons to GO TRI in Nottingham tonight

Published:

Nottingham’s new GO TRI events start tonight (Wednesday 20 May) at the National Water Sports Centre in Nottingham. There are two distances available, and this is a fairly unique GO TRI event as the swim is in open water.

GO TRI events are aimed at novices predominately, but the longer distance event is also aimed at more experienced athletes. As many novices may not be confident in open water, there are some ‘pre loved’ wetsuits available from just £30 and some free coaching available on the night.

Splash & Dash, 6.30pm: 200m swim · 5km bike · 1.5km run

Super Sprint League, 6.45pm: 400m swim · 10km bike · 3km run

Reasons to come along and TRI it!

Coaching: Friendly experienced coach on hand to help anyone who isn’t a confident swimmer.

Cheap wetsuits: Some ‘pre loved’ wetsuits in various sizes that you can borrow or buy. They are in various sizes and conditions. If you hire and decide to buy we’ll deduct the hire fee from the price. Suits start at £30. Note that wetsuits are optional though.

Sunshine: The sun is forecast to come out at 6pm tomorrow!

Fun: Triathlon is one of the fastest growing sports for a good reason, come and try it out to find out how much fun it is!

Entries on the night: Yes, you can just turn up and enter.
