Great Britain paratriathletes won three medals at the Iseo - Franciacorta ITU World Paratriathlon Event. Lizzie Tench won gold, Iain Dawson won silver and Joe Townsend bronze.

Tench’s success came in the PT1 category for wheel chair racers, as did Townsend’s bronze in a very competitive men’s race, which was won Geert Schipper (NED).

Iain Dawson raced with guide, Iain Robertson to win silver in the PT5 race. They finished a minute behind Arnaud Grandjean of France.

Great Britain coach, Andy Bullock, commented that team had done well in tough, very hot conditions.
