Tri-Stars Series races now available for your 2014 diary

Welsh Triathlon is excited to announce the Tri-Stars Series races for 2014.
There are eight races in total in the 2014 series which are evenly spread across Wales. These include 4 in the north (Conwy, Buckley and Ruthin), 2 in mid Wales (Machynlleth and Newtown) and a further 3 races in the south (Cardiff, Swansea and the Vale of Glamorgan).
The Tri-Stars series is a series of junior triathlon races held accross Wales which caters for 9 - 14 year olds and has four key aims;
- Provide a fun & enjoyable environment
- Participation for all standards
- Competition experience
- Talent ID
The 2014 Tri Stars Series will build upon the success of junior triathlon in 2013, which has seen the introduction of several new junior clubs (affiliated to Welsh Triathlon), held the most successful rounds of Kids of Steel events in the UK and seen the introduction of the Welsh Triathlon Performance Academies in both North and South Wales. Welsh Triathlon strongly believe that the Tri Stars Series (formed in 2013) is integral to both junior participation and talent identification in Wales.
