British Triathlon are very excited to be launching a new programme called Tri Activators.

The Tri Activators initiative aims to provide individuals with the skills to run a variety of activities aimed at encouraging participation within triathlon at club level. We are looking for people who have the personal skills to inspire, facilitate, support and empower people to join club activities. We see the Tri Activator role as fundamentally a pre-coaching course.

There are 2 important key stands to the Tri Activator role, both of which can be rewarding and will enhance the take up and enjoyment of triathlon as a sport:

-       To organise and lead safe, positive and equitable triathlon training activities and experiences.

-       To inform, inspire and cultivate connections to the sport of triathlon in their local clubs and communities.

Date: Sunday 22nd May

Time: 9am – 4.30pm (timings approximate and subject to change)

Venue: Carnegie Hall 106, Headingley Campus, Leeds Beckett University, Leeds, LS6 3QQ

What you would need: The course involves cycling and running activity, so you would need to come in appropriate clothing and footwear and bring with you a functioning bike and helmet.
