It’s a quiet one for triathlon, with just one British athlete in action this weekend racing in the Czech Republic.

What:  2016 Tabor ETU Triathlon Junior European Cup, Czech Republic. 

When: Sunday 31 July

Where: The race takes place in Tabor, a city in Southern Bohemian region of the Czech Republic, just over 100km away from Prague. Competitors will be racing sprint distance covering a 750m swim, 20km bike and 5km run. 

Who: Mary Hodgson is Great Britain’s sole representative in the race that has hosted an ETU Triathlon Junior European Cup for four of the past seven seasons. Back in 2012, Great Britain had four medallists at this event with Gordon Benson, Marc Austin, Sophie Coldwell and Georgia Taylor-Brown all taking to the podium.
