Based at the brand new Porth Eirias watersports complex, 'The Eirias' festival is a great event in the triathlon calendar. Xtra Mile Events have again teamed up with Conwy County Council to bring you a sea based middle distance triathlon and standard distance triathlon to rival the best in the UK. Triathletes will start from the new permanent beach at Porth Eirias. Exiting via the beach you will run up to the transition area based on the Porth Eirias car park and embark on a 106km 2 lap cycle route around the beautiful countryside south of Colwyn Bay. The standard event is 1 lap. The run will be along the coastal path which is fast and flat (with a couple of little rises) affording beautiful views of the North Welsh coast. The finish line is on the promenade next to Porth Eirias.
