This triathlon is a great sprint distance race. This is a short and friendly race, perfect event for the novice triathlete wanting to try the sport for the first time. A sprint distance, with a 400m pool based swim at Ponteland Leisure Centre, followed by a 20k bike route out of the town and along the surrounding scenic countryside roads, and a 5k run route. A fantastic event for novices and experienced triathletes.
