As our new Marketing and Communications trustee, you will play a significant part in shaping the future of the Triathlon Trust.
Key areas of responsibility
- Review and advise on the Trust’s Sport Development and Community Partnerships strategy and provide informed advice and support to the Board.
- Provide advice and counsel to the Trust’s and/or British Triathlon’s senior management responsible for Sport Development and Community Partnerships.
- Suggest ways to develop community engagement in alignment with the Trust’s purpose, values, and strategy.
- Report to the Board on the effectiveness of Trust’s Sport Development and Community Partnerships strategy, taking account of the views of the other individual Trustees.
What we ask from you
Our Trustees are expected to prepare for and attend all Board meetings called during the year, and the Annual General Meeting, unless prevented by exceptional circumstances. The Board normally meets four times a year with meetings lasting approximately two hours. Meetings usually take place virtually or in London but may be in other parts of Great Britain from time to time.
In addition, Trustees are expected to act as a member of such Committees of the Board as the Board reasonably requests. The post holder is expected to prepare for and attending all meetings of such Committees, unless prevented by exceptional circumstances.
On average, the role is likely to require a maximum of one day a month of your time.
