On the 30th and 31st March 385 athletes across Youth and Junior age groups undertook the British Triathlon Performance Assessments at The University of Nottingham and Prestwold Hall Race Circuit.

The weekend was the Gateway into the British Youth and Junior Super Series (creating the roll down list for race starts); and for the first time consisted the first event of the Super Series. The first time England, Scotland, Wales and Jersey have come together for a joint assessment, there was great representation from the East Midlands across the girls and boys in both youth and junior categories, with 37 in total competing over the two days.

Some stand out results were Lizzy Edge winning the Youth Girls event and Libby Coleman winning the Junior Girls. There were also top 10 performances from Elizabeth Webster, Elspeth Grant and Xavi Salcedo.
