The regional series is open to athletes between the ages of 9 & 16 (age as of December 31st 2020)

To be entered automatically for the East Midlands Junior Race Series individual league you must live within the East Midlands region and have East Midlands as the region shown on your home nation membership card.  If you are a member of an East Midlands registered triathlon club to attain points for your club East Midlands must also be shown on your home nation membership. 

There are four age classifications based on year of birth. Age for each group are as of 31st December 2020:

• TriStar 1: 9-10 years old (born 2010 / 2011)
• TriStar 2: 11-12 years old (born 2008 / 2009)
• TriStar 3: 13-14 years old (born 2006 / 2007)
• Youth: 15-16 years old (born 2004 / 2005)

Overall positions in the series will be based on the best 5 results from across the total series.
