The 5th edition of the Bedford Team Relays incorporating the Triathlon England East Region Relay Championships is all set for 27th May.
Now in it's fifth year at Box End the Bedford Team Relays have become a firm favourite with the regions clubs and also clubs from outside the region. The relays provides a fun, friendly format for racing in teams for your clubs or perhaps just with your mates.
Each member of a team of three completes a 750m swim in turn, before each completing a 20km bike in turn and finally each completing a 5km run in turn. Its becoming a tradition for the teams to cross the finish line together.
This format of a broken sprint distance triathlon removes the anxiety of transitions, so is brillient for newbie triathletes. Being open to all over the age of 15 it is great for families, friends and clubs to race together.
Entries are now open and cost £150 per team (BTF members) with 10% discount available to clubs fielding 5 or more teams.
