Hemel Hempstead's newest triathlon very much aimed at beginners will take place in Hemel on 2nd October 2016

Triathlon England has been working alongside SportSpace - Dacorum Sports Trust to develop the first ever Hemel Triathlon. The aim of the short event is to encourage as many new people as possible to give Triathlon a go. They have developed a whole range of new classes and sessions at their centres to try and get people triathlon fit and increase their knowledge on what to expect on the day. A Novice training day will also be offered to a selection of beginners and run by Andrew Adeane an experienced Triathlete and Coach. The event is due to take place on the 2nd October will start from Dacorum Sports Centre consists of a 400m pool swim, 8k bike followed by a 5k run and Triathlon England would like you to encourage as many new people as possible to take part.
