British Triathlon are delighted to announce that Putteridge SC is the very first club in the East Region to achieve its TriMark accreditation.

Putteridge SC has been awarded TriMark Club Bronze as a recognition for its commitment to good club management, duty of care and welfare and the scope of its programme of activity available to members.

Graeme Crowston, who leads the triathlon section at the swimming club and who developed the Trimark Bronze submission for the club, said “'Putteridge SC are incredibly proud to have achieved this award.  Whilst we are a small triathlon section there is a huge amount of scope for growth and this award shows we are in a good position to support that growth".

Jon Train, (Club Accreditation Lead,) said “Accreditation has long been associated to large lever arch files and lots of paperwork. This new system has taken us online and simplifies the process. Putteridge SC can now move on to TriMark Club Silver accreditation which is awarded alongside, and administered in connection with Sport England's Clubmark accreditation.”
