Triathlon England Members and Board Members came together on Saturday 10 to learn and celebrate the successes of Triathlon England in 2018.
Attendees had the opportunity to attend one of seven workshops throughout the day to learn from some of the industries top professionals, including 2016 Rio Olympic athlete Kevin Seaward who supported the Clean Sport workshop.
With this years Triathlon England award winners announced in advance of the AGM, the break before the afternoon's agenda provided an opportunity once again to celebrated the countless effort of the volunteers and those involved in the sport with a showreel featuring a number of their successes throughout the year. After lunch the Triathlon England Annual General Meeting (AGM) formalities began with a short video highlighting the key moments of the past year before an update from the board and an opportunity for Home Nation Members to have their say.
Bill James, Triathlon England Chairman said “The workshops were lively and engaging sessions on topics that Clubs and Members wanted, so this was a very engaging way to start the day. We followed with our AGM, an opportunity to share an update from the Board on our focus and progress. I thoroughly enjoyed the day as a great opportunity to talk with Members and get feedback that informs our work for the coming year.”
