Event Overview
The TriStar swim will be either 2, 6, 8 or 12 lengths (depending on age) and the adult swim will be 16 lengths, swam in a snake style. Transition will be through a fire exit, directly outside the pool, then competitors will leave the Sporting Village complex to complete the run in the grounds of Gloucester Park. TriStars will follow a flat out and back course (distance according to age) and adults will take on a 5km lap including running over ‘Helicopter Hill’ – the proof that not all of Essex is flat!
