Event Overview

Now in its 7th edition the event has once again been included as part of the British Triathlon Major Events Programme, hosting;

1. 2019 ETU Sprint Distance Qualifier (draft Illegal)

2. 2018 ITU Standard Distance Qualifier (draft Illegal)

3. Triathlon England National Standard Distance Championships

4. BUCS Standard Distance Championships

This iconic event takes in many of the landmarks of this famous seaside resort including an open water swim in the inland Marine Lake, a fast and flat bike course on fully closed roads along the coast, followed by a similarly flat and scenic run around the lake, Kings Gardens and under the pier, this is a quick course and ideal for PBs!

The event is open to all levels of triathlete from complete novices to seasoned age group competitors and includes a Sprint and Standard distance race along with a novices only wave in the Sprint race.
