Start Time: 11am

Minimum Age: 15 (based on the age as at the 31st December in the current year)

Distances: 5.5km Run, 13km Mountain Bike and 4.4km Run

Overview:  Kick start the 2016 season with a bit of off road.  Hamsterley Forest is one of the Northeast’s premier mountain bike destinations. Explore the largest forest in County Durham on foot and bike as you take on this exciting new challenge.  

Starting at Bedburn Beck Car Park, near to the visitors centre, the course consists of 5.5km Off Road Trail Run, 13km Mountain Bike Ride taking in some of the famous black and red routes, followed by a 4.4km Run.

Prizes:  Prizes will be awarded to the first 3 males and females in the following categories; junior, senior and veteran. Prizes have been kindly donated by our event sponsor Dale Care Ltd.
