The Eastbourne Triathlon is an award-winning triathlon, consisting of a 600m sea swim, 18.5km bike course and 5km run. In addition to the triathlon, running concurrently will be two separate events, an Aquabike event (600m swim / 18.5km bike) and an exciting elite race featuring an international field of world class triathletes drawn to the course and who are looking forward to racing with you!
The event kicks off with a classic sea swim in front of The Grand Hotel and with the iconic pier as a backdrop. Triathletes will then begin the challenging 18.5km cycle course that goes through the town centre, Beachy Head, Birling Gap and the South Downs National Park - an area of outstanding beauty and two National Trust heritage sites.
The 5km run includes a challenging and iconic climb up Bede's Hill to take in the stunning panoramic views and a lovely downhill and flat finish along the prom.
With a bustling event village and lots to do for the family.
