We're going to put on our very own GO TRI Fausto Triathlon race down on the Roker Riviera on September 1st in partnership with Sun City Triathlon Club. These races are targeted at people who have never raced before but would love to have a crack at it, as well as beginners and novices in the sport.

The distances will be 300m sea swim, a 6km bike, and a run of 2.5km. It'll be £12 and Fausto, British Triathlon, Sunderland Yacht Club, and Sun City Tri Club are offering a lot of support and equipment to help us get this caper going so GET INVOLVED!

You can race on your own or as part of a relay team. And if you have any self doubt as to whether you could do it, I'm telling you now that you can. And crossing the finish line will feel AWESOME.The event will start at 7.30am.
