GO TRI Local is for people that are brand new to swim, bike and run and looking to take their first steps in a safe and enjoyable environment. GO TRI Local takes place within the heart of your community; at the same time, on the same date, at the same place, with the same distances every month allowing you to track your progress over time.

Triathlon England is working with selected delivery partners to hold the first GO TRI Local pilots in Leicestershire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire.

GO TRI Local Milton Country Park is a monthly opportunity for new and aspiring triathletes to come and give a triathlon/duathlon (which consists of run, bike, run) a go in a fun and non-competitive environment, with a fully off road course enclosed within Milton Country Park. SWIMMING - If you decide that you are not up for swimming there will be the option to add a run in instead of the swim at the start and do a duathlon. If the water temperature is below 11 degrees on the day we will be unable to swim and the format will be duathlon for all. Please check out the open water swimming page on the Milton Country Park website for more information on swimming at the park, water temperatures and opportunities to swim in the lake. Juniors will be required to wear a wetsuit regardless of temperature but adults have the option above 16 degrees C.

NEED SUPPORT? We will be running GO TRI Active sessions through the summer to introduce people to the open water. This will be communicated in the weeks leading up to the event.

PARENT AND CHILD EVENT By entering the Parent and Child event, you are agreeing to the following:- Your child is a competent swimmer and has open water experience.- You will take part with/supervise your child maintaining line of sight throughout the entire event.- Both the parent and child must wear swim caps (provided at the event) and wetsuits. If you are entering the Parent and Child event, please complete separate entries for both the parent and child. To do this you will need to click BOOK HERE and complete the entry for the parent before completing the same process for the child. Please note: only one child is allowed to enter per every participating adult. If you haven't already registered an account for your child, you can create a linked account by registering your child with the same email address and password.
