Overview
Sprint triathlon comprising a 300m pool swim, 20km bike and 5km run.We pride ourselves on not only our unique friendly atmosphere but also our unique settings Mersea Island has to offer. For 2017 we have expanded our events off the Island to host a pool triathlon and kids triathlon.
We are excited to host these new events on the stunning grounds around Woolverstone Hall otherwise known as Ipswich High School for Girls.The hall is a magnificent Grade 1 listed mansion set in 80 acres of Suffolk parkland on the banks of the River Orwell. The swim will take place in the school's modern 25m indoor pool. The bike course is set on undulating country roads cutting through Suffolk’s countryside and alongside the river. The run will be mainly off-road along footpaths and through woodland.
