We want everyone to enjoy the action at the British Triathlon Mixed Relay Cup, so we are making sure that individuals with mobility issues are well catered for on Saturday 2 September.
We want to encourage as many people to join us in Nottingham, including those with accessibility needs. If large groups wishing to attend could please contact the organisers, we can ensure the right arrangements can be put in place.
Grandstand seating – A wheelchair accessible grandstand is available at the event, and with each ticket purchased you’ll receive a complimentary companion ticket too. This area will also be supported with appropriate toilet facilities
Free-to-view – There will be a free-to-view area located on one of the best parts of the course, with chairs available for those on crutches or who are unable to stand for long periods. This area is located a short distance from the blue badge parking area. This position will offer un-restricted viewing of the course, no barriers to block your view.
There will be a dedicated blue badge parking area on site which will be FREE to access. This is the closest possible parking location to the main stadium area and both accessible viewing areas. You will also be right next to the spectator village.
The whole event site can be accessed from this car park using existing tarmac paths.
Please follow the event parking signage which will guide you to the disabled parking.
Toilet and changing facilities
Accessible toilets will be located alongside all the main banks of public toilets, as well as carefully located next to the accessible spectator areas.
We will also have a Changing Places facility on site within the spectator village for those with more complex needs. You can view the unit here.
If you wish to ask any questions about event accessibility, or attend as part of a large group please contact Nottingham City Council – email@example.com
