Event Overview
A pool based Sprint Triathlon at Ponteland Leisure Centre organised by Ponteland Tri Club, National and Regional GO TRI organisers of the year 2018. This is our second Sprint Tri after a very successful first year. The swim will be in four lanes in the pool. The bike route will head out into the beautiful country roads around Ponteland. A ‘Dead Zone’ will neutralise the section through the traffic lights so you don’t need to worry about getting caught at the lights.Prizes will be awarded to first, second and third in all race categories. Event t-shirts and a goody bag for all participants. Come and support your local friendly tri club in their Sprint Triathlon. This event forms part of the North East Regional Grand Prix.
