Dorney Lake was the venue for the rowing and kayak events in the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2012. The High Performance Drafting race is for those more experienced triathletes who are members of the British Triathlon Federation (BTF).
High Performance Drafting entrants must provide their BTF (Triathlon England, Triathlon Scotland or the Welsh Triathlon Association) race licence number on the online entry form and show their licence at registration on the day.
The biking and running are all on closed roads so there's no worry about traffic. All participants are considered winners for taking part and taking on the prospect of a 100, 200, 300 or 400m open water swim followed by a 1.5, 3, 5.3 or 10.6km bike ride and 600m, 1, 1.8 or 2.5km run.
