The Viridian Daventry Triathlon is a sprint distance race, starting with a 400m swim in the Daventry Leisure Centre, followed by a 20km cycle section through the Northamptonshire countryside and finishing with a scenic 5km run around Daventry Country Park. The men's course record, set in 2015 by Jack Bond, is 55:04 and the ladies' course record of 1:04:58, set at the first triathlon in Daventry by Emily Whitmore, are still the times to beat.
