The event starts and finishes at the Lord Butler Leisure Centre in Saffron Walden and is brought to you by Walden Tri Club, in partnership with Active Training World.

The event offers a choice of a SuperSprint Triathlon (250m swim – 11.9km bike – 2.5km run), a Sprint Triathlon (400m swim – 22.5km bike – 5km run) and a Sprint Aquabike (400m swim – 22.5km bike). There is also the opportunity to team up with friends to complete the Sprint distance as a relay with 2 or 3 people sharing the disciplines between them.

The swim will take place in a 25m indoor pool, followed by a one lap bike on a rolling course, finishing with an out and back off-road run.

Swimmers will be set off individually at short intervals, with the fastest swimmers off first to minimise the need to overtake in the pool. You will be asked to provide your estimated swim time in the registration process which will be used to seed you in to the correct start position.
