Overview
The second WBay Aquathlon (2018) will be run this year on September 16, following a hugely successful first event last year. A sea swim around Whitmore Bay followed by a flat and fast run around the iconic headlands of Barry Island.
Mini splash and dash: 500m swim | 3km run
Maxi splash and dash: 1000m swim | 6km run
The race will start at entrance 6 (sea wall markings), Whitmore Bay, Barry Island (CF62 5QT). Competitors are required to muster at 9.15 am under the Easter Shelter for a 10.00am start. You can register on the day of the event but will not receive a complimentary medal.
