Windrush Triathlon Club are hosting an Aquathlon event at Brockwell Park on Sunday 16th July. 

For participants, the Aquathlon includes a swim in the iconic 1930s Brockwell Lido followed by a run around the beautiful (slightly hilly!) park. This provides a safe, traffic free environment for both adults and juniors to race close to the heart of Brixton.

This will be the 11th year of the event where the ethos continues to be an accessible and inclusive event for all ages, races, genders and physical abilities. This year is also the 75th anniversary of the arrival of the first of the Windrush Generation in the UK and we are particularly keen to welcome newcomers to the event to celebrate the diversity of our Brixton community.

Volunteers will facilitate and co-ordinate the day to ensure that you are safe and informed throughout the event and the venue offers good opportunities for spectators to cheer you on, so bring your family and friends as your personal supporters.
