Community

We are proud to offer community themed workshops as part of British Triathlon's Big Active Strategy. This strategy was developed with the goal of creating a more diverse and inclusive swim, bike and run community. Our Swim Bike Run Community Activator Award aims to work alongside local communities, providing opportunities for individuals to get involved in the sport of triathlon through recruitment, training, and deployment. By working with local people in swim, bike, and run, we hope to build a stronger and more vibrant triathlon community. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to participate in triathlon, regardless of their background or experience, and we are committed to making this a reality through our community themed Award.

Club

Our club themed Award is an integral part of British Triathlon's Big Active Strategy, which seeks to develop a strong core of athletes and clubs to build a more inclusive triathlon community. Our goal is to offer enhanced support to affiliated clubs, providing them with the tools and resources they need to reach new audiences and grow participation within their clubs. Through our participation programmes, we aim to help clubs develop a more diverse profile of participants, ensuring that everyone has access to the sport of triathlon, regardless of their background or experience. We believe that by building a strong core of clubs and athletes, we can create a more vibrant and inclusive triathlon community. We are committed to making this vision a reality through our club themed Awards and workshops; Swim Bike Run Leader and the Club Coach Leadership Workshops.

Education

We are excited to offer education themed workshops that are linked to British Triathlon's Active Skills for Life programme. This programme is designed to support children, clubs, organisations, and schools to be active and learn valuable skills that will last a lifetime. Our workshops are designed to help anyone working in an educational setting make the world of swim, bike, and run accessible, educational, and rewarding.

Swim Bike Run Community Activator

This award is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to facilitate casual, inclusive, and beginner-friendly Swim, Bike, Run sessions in a safe environment within your local community.

Swim Bike Run Leader Award

This award is designed to equip learners with the knowledge, skills and confidence to lead guided swims, bike rides and runs for groups of beginners and intermediate level adults and accompanied children.

Club Coach Leadership Workshops

The Club Coach Workshop is aimed primarily at individuals who are in a leadership position within a club environment such as Head Coach or an Assistant Coach in a leadership role and aims to support your development within that role.

Active Skills for Life

Active Skills for Life includes a range of resources for children, clubs, organisations and schools, supporting them to be active and learn valuable skills that will last a lifetime.

Ongoing Support

Stay connected and grow as a coach with our comprehensive on-going support. Join social media groups, engage in communities of practice, attend conferences and webinars, and find a mentor for continuous development.
