Personal Accident insurance cover is a benefit that a member can claim if they are injured by themselves (e.g. falling off your bike, tripping up as you run) or by someone (e.g. a cyclist or vehicle collision into you) or something else (e.g. a branch falling on you whilst running in the woods). Compensation is paid from the insurers to the member claiming. The member will only pay the excess to activate the claim.

What level of cover do you get with your membership:

• Race Pass holder – you don’t get Personal Accident cover, if you want this cover you will need to upgrade to Core Membership
• Essential membership – you don’t get Personal Accident cover, if you want this cover you will need to upgrade to Core Membership
• Core and Core Coach membership – this covers you 365 days a year, 24 hours a day only when training in Britain towards a triathlon goal, racing in Britain at a British Triathlon Permitted Event, and racing abroad** only at ETU or World Triathlon Championships*
• Ultimate and Ultimate Coach membership – this covers you 365 days a year, 24 hours a day only when training in Britain or abroad** towards a triathlon goal, racing in Britain at a British Triathlon Permitted Event, and racing abroad at ETU or World Triathlon Championships or World Triathlon sanctioned events, IronMan, Challenge, Xterra events*
