It may well have been a totally new pool this year, but the Kingfisher Aquathlon has lost none of its special character.

Despite a chilly start, the sun shone all morning and the team delivered another great race. The last minute decision to include a spicy little hill in the 9km run meant that all finishers earnt their cake!

There were 16 London clubs represented in the London League, with the MOB match going to Thames Turbo, followed by Clapham Chasers and Ful-on Tri.

The Mens’ team event was won by London Fields TC, 2nd was Ful-on Tri and 3rd Clapham Chasers. The Ladies team winners were Clapham Chasers, 2nd Westcroft and 3rd Thames Turbo Mixed team winners were Clapham, 2nd Thames Turbo and 3rd South London Harriers.

There should be a prize for the most enthusiastic marshal. Well done to Maarten and his team at Kingfisher Triathletes!
