Sunday 3 September, and the VONCRANK London League competition resumes.
Sunday 3 September saw the return of the VONCRANK London League after it's mid-summer break as racing recommenced in North London at the Capital Tri Splash & Dash Aquathlon.
This 2-lap 1500m swim and multi-lap 9.6km run around West Reservoir is the longest aquathlon of the series and a good test of late season fitness. Not only is the location a little oasis of calm in north London, it has a castle too!

In the Saddledrunk London League open age-category competition, Thomas Wade (Optima) won the Men's t-shirt and Christina Jenkins (Ful-On Tri) won the Women's.

Next weekend is race 11 in the series as the action heads to Greenwich and the Clash Of The Tritons Aquathlon. With only 3 races now remaining in the 2017 season, it really is getting to the business end of the season when Team and age-group titles get decided and everyone chases the magical 400 point total.
