Performance Assessment Weekend

Encouraging words from Alex Yee for participants.

385 youth and junior athletes from across all the Home Nations and Jersey took part in the British Triathlon’s Performance Assessment weekend, with the event acting as the first event in the Super Series in addition to being an opportunity for parents and athletes to engage in workshops designed to support whole athlete (person) development and meet staff and coaches from the leading Triathlon University programmes across the two days.

The racing format of the weekend was split into a swim time trial on Saturday (Youth A: 400m, Youth B & Junior: 800m), followed by a bike and run on Sunday (Youth A: 10km/2.5km, Youth B & Junior: 20km/5km) with athletes released into T1 in pursuit format based off their time from the previous day.
