British Triathlon are organising 3 Event Organiser Roadshows aimed specifically at Event Organisers.
These roadshows offer you the opportunity to learn about three key areas of Event Management, as well as meet and hear from the British Triathlon Event Engagement Team and how we are here to support you as Event Organisers.
These FREE roadshows will provide Event Organisers of all sizes the opportunity to network, hear from industry experts, ask questions and meet a number of the British Triathlon team.
The key theme will vary across each roadshow location and will feature a guest speaker:
- The London Roadshow (3 December) key theme is ‘Triathlon Event Contingency planning’. The guest speaker Ian lole is an Event Management Consultant for many mass participation events and has much experience working in triathlon and open water events.
- The Loughborough Roadshow (5 December) key theme is ‘Responsibilities of the organiser and keeping people safe’. The guest speaker is Steve Laws, the ‘Director of safe and trained’ at the TESS Group with expert knowledge of traffic management, crisis management and events.
- The Yorkshire Roadshow (6 December) key theme is ‘Marketing and promotion of your event’. The guest speaker is Alex Wright. Alex formerly worked for Facebook in marketing solutions and now works as the Managing Director for Knapton Wright, a social media marketing company.
Roadshow Dates
Each roadshow location will host two identical sessions to make it even easier for you to attend:
- Session 1 - 2:30-5pm
- Session 2 - 6:30-9pm

Booking Information
Booking will open on 17 October, with all dates listed for booking here! The roadshows are FREE for all Event Organisers who permit their events through British Triathlon, however a small charge will be applicable for those who do not (the Events Engagement team will contact with invoicing information where relevant).
