AJ Bell World Triathlon Series Leeds

Coming out in full force to support 2500 first time and amatuer elite triathletes on the 8 and 9 June, the city of Leeds once again played host to a fantastic event. Accenture World Triathlon Mixed Relay Nottingham

After the heavy rain in Nottingham in the lead up to the event the race format changing to a duathlon. Saturday 15 June however, was a glorious day, with over 500 amateur athletes turning out for the British Sprint Championship, Open Sprint, TriStar and GO TRI races. The elite race in the afternoon proved to be a different spectacle. Heavy rain throughout the race put the technique, and the physical and mental toughness of the field to the test in front of a roaring P20 Grandstand.
