A trio of duathlons coming up

Published:

The clocks go back this weekend meaning an extra hour of preparation for participants taking part in events from Sunday. Here’s what’s coming up…

Clumber Park Duathlon – Saturday 24 October

Those racing at the Clumber Park Duathlon won’t be able to take advantage of the extra hour but will be able to enjoy the scenery of Thoresby Park. Not a typo, this edition of the race has moved next door to the venue that hosted Outlaw X a few weeks ago to welcome participants for sprint and standard distance run-bike-runs.

GO TRI Come and Give it a GO TRI LimbPower Duathlon – 24 and 25 October

With profits donated to charity partner LimbPower, this duathlon provides participants with the chance to give multisport a go by completing a 2.4km run, 10km bike and final 2.4km run. The Cheshire village of Woodford plays host to this event that offers multiple opportunities across the weekend to get involved.

GO TRI Local Milton Country Park – 25 October

The first day after British Summer Time ends sees the first GO TRI Local programme start. GO TRI Local brings multisport to the heart of the community by providing regular opportunities to give it a go. Taking place in Milton Country Park, this is the first of three pilot programmes for the initiative.
