For some Easter eggcitement, Castle Triathlon Series are encouraging you to make the most of your one daily piece of exercise and make each one count by taking part in their Virtual Challenge.
The Easter Virtual Challenge is a bit of free fun to help you complete a duathlon across the three days of Easter (Good Friday – Easter Sunday) by completing one leg per day as your once-a-day exercise.
There’s no need to travel, simply use your local roads, garden, hallway or treadmill or turbo trainer (if you have one) and cross your own finish line. Get creative and mark out your route for a home race like no other.
There are a choice of distances, so choose the one that’s right for you and get cracking:
- Standard distance – 10km run, 40km bike, 5km run
- Sprint distance – 5km run, 20km bike, 2.5km run
- Starter distance – 2.5km run, 10km bike, 1.25km run
- Junior distance – 1km run, 4km bike, 600m run
Keeping fit and having fun are the main prizes, but Castle Triathlon Series will hold a virtual awards ceremony on Monday 13 April with 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awarded in each age category for best dressed participant and most creative course.
To get involved simply sign up below and share your photos and courses on social media using #CastleTriathlonSeries.
Three days, three disciplines. Stay local, stay safe.
