British Triathlon backs coaches with #GreatCoachingPledge

Published:

UK Coaching Week is being celebrated from 14-20 September 2020, with British Triathlon joining the #GreatCoachingPledge to support coaches.

The campaign, which aims to raise awareness of and celebrate great coaching, will focus on the need to ‘Support Your Coach’ and encourages athletes, coaches and the public to make a #GreatCoachingPledge.

Throughout lockdown, coaches have continued to serve clubs and individuals and help the triathlon community to continue taking part. With restrictions allowing face-to-face coaching, their hard work continues as the sport returns under government and British Triathlon guidelines.

The pledge campaign is for anyone, with the focus being on how you, your club, your family or organisation will commit to giving your time and energy to thanking and supporting the coaching community.

You can join the campaign by making your pledge and posting it on social media using #GreatCoachingPledge and tagging us in (@BritTri) to show support for your coaches.
