British Triathlon has selected 15 affiliated clubs to be part of its Club Management System pilot scheme, aimed at streamlining the processes required to successfully manage a club and supporting the key individuals at the heart of the sport.

The scheme has attracted unprecedented interest, with more than 75 British Triathlon Affiliated Clubs expressing their eagerness to be involved. A thorough selection process followed the initial application stage; narrowing the number to 15 clubs who will have the opportunity to pilot the system over the coming months with the hope of improving their ways of working.

Clubs have been selected to ensure fair geographical spread and to include a range of club types, the idea being that Club Management System should cater effectively to the needs of all British Triathlon affiliated clubs.

Moving forwards, these clubs will embark on the pilot which will support them to manage their memberships effectively, aid their ability to attract new members and, importantly, save valuable time so clubs can continue to do what they do best; inspire triathletes to be the best they can be.

Clubs having expressed an interest have been communicated to and implementation of the pilot will now begin for those which were successful. British Triathlon will be following the progress of clubs as the scheme unfolds and unsuccessful clubs will be engaged at relevant points during the process.
