Andy Lewis and George Peasgood set the pace for weekend, taking gold in Lausanne on Saturday morning, while in IRONMAN Corinne Abraham won again and Emma Pallant set herself up for the IRONMAN 70.3 world championships.

Andy Lewis and George Peasgood set themselves up nicely for next month’s Grand Final on the Gold Coast coming by winning gold in Lausanne.
2018 Lausanne ITU Triathlon World Cup
Jonathan Brownlee reacquainted himself with the location of the 2019 ITU World Triathlon Series Grand Final, launching an impressive attack on the bike to test his legs on the course. He was run down by Gustav Eden (NOR) but won silver after missing out on the podium in his last two races. Sam Dickinson kept with the pace through the swim and bike and finished 31st on a tough course.
Lucy Hall was the highest placed Brit in 19th with the fastest swim of the race. Olivia Mathias put in a solid effort in her first Olympic distance race placing 26th.
Welsh Aquathlon Championships 2018
Porth Eirias was host to the Welsh National Aquathlon Championships. Michael Lewis finished with the fastest overall time of the day to take the senior title. Rhian Roxburgh took the veteran title setting the fastest overall female time.
IRONMAN Kalmar
Corinne Abraham took the win with a sensational run. Fellow Brit Kimberley Morrison had a strong race to finish fourth.

British athletes were victorious in Ireland as Emma Pallant took the top spot ahead of the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championships in South Africa. Elliot Smales topped the men’s podium with a four-minute lead.
