Brownlee’s super performance puts him on the podium

It was a quiet weekend for triathlon this weekend with Super League Mallorca taking the spotlight once again.

Once again, some of the world’s best triathletes took on the challenge that is Super League with round three taking place in Porto Cristo, Mallorca. Jonathon Brownlee brought some good form to both days of racing, playing a tactical and smart race.

Brownlee finished the Triple Mix on the first day with third behind Vincent Luis (FRA) in second and Henri Schoeman (RSA) who won. On day two, Brownlee was challenged and attacked but he held his ground finishing in second in the Sprint Enduro. Jonathan Brownlee finished third overall for the whole weekend. Jodie Stimpson stands her ground holding her fifth position in the overall standings.

Mallorca rounded off the Super League Series for 2018 but it returns for the final in Singapore next year
