Challenge Roth

Lucy Charles has been tipped as a race favourite at Challenge Roth on Sunday – which features a total of $200,000 prize money. The renowned course has been made even faster following athlete feedback, and although records seem somewhat arbitrary given a number of inaccurately measured events recently, Roth was the location of Chrissie Wellington’s stunning world best time of 8hours18:13 in 2011.

Laura Siddall brings good form into the race having won two IRONMAN events already this season, and European Long Distance champion, Joe Skipper, is always capable of mixing it up with the best.

Pro Men:  Fraser Cartmell, Joe Skipper

Pro Women: Lucy Charles, Laura Siddall

There’s a live stream starting from 7:30am UK time on Sunday, which will miss the swim, but joins the athletes on the bike section:

David McNamaee heads to Austria as one of the favourites having finished third in Kona last year.

Pro Women: Susie Cheetham, Emma Pallant
