London’s iconic Canary Wharf venue will join Northumberland, Nottingham, Leeds, Salford, London Docklands and Glasgow in hosting a leg of the 2018 Accenture Mixed Team Challenge.
British Triathlon and Accenture’s collaborative event programme, created to inspire people to get out of the office and into their gym kit, invites both experienced and novice triathletes to team up and take part in a triathlon at any of the seven locations, starting on Sunday 3 June.
Want to know more? The Challenge is designed to celebrate teamwork and inclusion and six of the seven events can be completed in one of two ways; as a Relay team or a Tribe.
Want the triathlon experience but aren’t ready to tackle all three disciplines? Grab two friends or colleagues and decide who will take on the swim, the bike and the run – simple!
Looking for the entire triathlon experience? A Tribe sees three team members each complete the course from swim to finish line, with their times accumulated to decide the quickest overall tri.
The important bit: All teams must be mixed gender, with top prizes on offer for the winning relay team and Tribe at each location.
Canary Wharf will bring the 2018 Accenture Mixed Team Challenge to a crescendo on the evening of Wednesday 5 September and will include an exciting twist. This time, teams of four will be invited to compete in the elite mixed relay format, with each participant completing a mini-triathlon before tagging their next teammate to do the same.
